This album is a showcase of all the different types of music we recorded in our fist year. Many of the recordings were in collaboration with the Music in the Mountains festival that takes place in the Alpujarra mountains south of Granada, Spain. The styles vary from Flamenco, Galician Choir, Jazz, Classical Indian, to name a few. An eclectic musical journey that travels through Wapapura's first adventures in solar recordings.
- Space
These recordings took place in many locations around Andalucia, Spain. We traveled to an outdoor amphitheater of an ancient Moorish Castle, a 16th century Water Mill in the Alpujarra mountains, a tobacco farm house in the Vega of Granada, the Cathedral of Granada...Proving that high quality recordings can be done using Solar Power in any location imaginable (or as far as we are willing to travel with the equipment...)
